A birth doula is someone who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother [and her partner] before, during and after birth. Doulas assist clients in various settings: private and public hospitals, birth clinics, and in the home. © 2005 DONA International

  • Access to Wombmate's lending library of books on pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and breastfeeding

  • Unlimited phone, text, and email support throughout pregnancy and six weeks postpartum

  • 24/7 on-call phone support from 38 weeks until the time your baby is born

  • Continuous labor support at your home, hospital, and/or birthing center and 1-2 hours of postpartum support

  • Assistance with initiating breastfeeding and instruction on hand expression 

  • Simple photography, if requested

  • 1 postpartum visit
